Gene Regulatory Mechanisms Underlying Cell-fate Decisions during Development and Diseases
We are particularly interested in studying how cell fates are specified during development and miss-specified in diseases. The research in our lab is aimed at achieving an integrated molecular and systems-level understanding of the gene regulatory mechanisms that define cell-type identity during development and its alteration in diseases such as neurodevelopmental disorders and cancer.
